Spring Coronation
April 10, 2010

It is with pleasure that we announce the Coronation of Malcolm and Tessa, the twenty-sixth Crowns of Ęthelmearc, and invite you to come and celebrate the continuity of the Royal Family and enjoy the hospitality and friendship of the Shire of Misty Highlands at South Middle School, 500 East Parkway Drive, Morgantown WV, 26501. A Grand Coronation feast shall be laid out for those in attendance, the preparations thereby overseen by the Head Cook, Lady Ailionora inghean Fiachrach. (ailionora AT yahoo DOT com)

Be it also known that Malcolm and Tessa are enamored of things Noble, as well as of Acts Chivalry and the encouragement of our youth, and thus They will hold the contest for their Youth Combat Champion upon that day, and they look forward to seeing many courageous young fighters demonstrate their prowess and chivalry. (In the event of bad weather, soft sole shoes will be required of the combatants.)

There will be an A&S display at Spring Coronation. Being that Spring is a season of rebirth, the artisans of Aethelmearc are encouraged to try something new. All artists, young and old, are asked to try something they haven't done before. At the end of the display we will have an artisans 'Meet & Greet' so that the artists can get together and discuss what they've learned and share the knowledge they've gained.

Fund Raising Raffle - The proceeds from this will benefit the youth combat program in AEthelmearc and part of the funds will be designated to help defray the costs for queens favors at Pennsic.

SASS Donation Jar - SASS will have a donation jar next to troll to help cover the costs of supplies used in supporting the Sylvan Army.

The site is DRY, as it is a school, and no open flames can be permitted. The only animals permitted on the grounds will be those trained as service animals. The site shall open at 9 am and will close at 9 pm. The autocrats are Master Valgardr Gunnarsson and Mistress Juliana Delamere.
