The Shire of Misty Highlands
The Shire of Misty Highlands is the area of North-Central West Virginia. We are a recognized land-group of the Society for Creative Anachronism. We are located within the Sylvan Kingdom of Æthelmearc. Our specific land is comprised of the counties of Wetzel, Tyler, Pleasants, Ritchie, Doddridge, Gilmer, Monongalia, Marion, Harrison, Lewis, Braxton, Preston, Taylor, Barbour, Upshur, Webster, Tucker, Randolph, Pendleton, and Pocahontas counties of West Virginia (as illustrated in green on the map). If you live close to this area you are welcome to come join in our activities but you may want to find which group you live in.
